1. Introduction  
Welcome to the Taiko School of Porto(“School,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). We are located in Porto, Portugal. By accessing our website and enrolling in our taiko drumming classes or services, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before using our services.

 

2. Description of Services  
We offer traditional Japanese taiko drumming classes, workshops, and performance events. Classes may vary in skill level from beginner to advanced. Enrollment requires booking through our website or direct contact. We reserve the right to modify class schedules and content.

3. User Obligations and Conduct  

 

Students agree to:

  • Attend classes punctually and regularly.

  • Follow instructor guidance and safety precautions during sessions.

  • Respect other participants and school property.

  • Acknowledge the physical nature of drumming and assume responsibility for personal health and safety, including any use of protective gear such as ear protection.

4. Payment Terms  

  • Class fees are stated on the website and payable at the time of booking or as otherwise agreed.  

  • Accepted payment methods include cash, credit/debit, MBWay.  

  • Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance for a refund or credit; otherwise, fees are non-refundable. Please review the Cancellation/No-Show policy on the Class Offerings page when registering for your class.

  • We reserve the right to change fees with notice.

5. Intellectual Property  
All content available on the website, including text, images, videos, logos, and teaching materials, is owned or licensed by the Taiko School of Porto, LDA Unipessoal. Users may not reproduce or use these materials without express permission.

6. Liability Limitations  
Participation in taiko drumming classes involves physical activity and risk of injury. By enrolling, you assume responsibility for your safety and release the Taiko School of Porto from liability for injuries or damages arising from participation or use of the website, except where mandated by law.
