Refund Policy

Refund Policy (eff. 10/2025)

1. No Refunds, Credit Offered  
All payments for classes, workshops, and courses at the Taiko School of Porto are non-refundable. However, if you are unable to attend a booked class or course, we offer credit equal to your payment value, which can be applied toward a future class or course at our school.


2. Eligibility for Credit  
Credits will be granted under the following conditions:  

  • You notify us of cancellation or rescheduling at least 24 hours before the scheduled class or course start date.  

  • The credit is used within 6 months from the original class date, after which it will expire unless otherwise agreed.  

  • Credits are personal to the original purchaser and are not transferable.


3. Consumer Rights Exceptions  
This policy does not affect your statutory rights under Portuguese and EU consumer protection laws. If the service is not provided as agreed, is defective, or substantially different from what was described, you may be entitled to a refund or alternative remedy in accordance with applicable law.


4. Cancellation and Rescheduling  

  • For cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled class or course, credits may not be granted.  

  • We reserve the right to reschedule or cancel classes for reasons beyond our control (such as public health directives or force majeure events). In such cases, affected customers will receive full credit for the rescheduled session or an alternative class.


5. Dispute Resolution  
If you have concerns about this refund policy or your credits, please contact us at info@taikoschoolofporto.pt. We strive to address all customer concerns amicably in compliance with Portuguese legal standards.


6. Policy Changes  
We reserve the right to update this Refund Policy. Any changes will be communicated and posted on our website.
